Programs Provided by The Arc of Greater Beaumont
Arc Adult Social Club
The Arc Adult Social Club provides supervised social and
recreational activities for ages 16 and up. Events are held the third
Thursday of each month.
Family Fun Nights
Three of these night are held per year. These events
are designed for families of individuals with disabilities to come together.
Children can enjoy the activities and events put together through the Arc and
parents can network with other parents of children with disabilities. Fun
and Informative for the whole family!
Day Long Workshops
Designed for individuals who are out of school and live at home. This once a
month workshop is a way for those individuals to get out of the house and enjoy
a day of friends, fitness, and arts and crafts activities.
Fun and Fitness Activities
A fun fitness activity will be held one Saturday
every other month. This program is designed to keep adults ages 16 and up active
and healthy throughout their lifetime.
Summer Day Camps
Each summer The Arc hosts Summer Day Camps for children with developmental
disabilities. These camps are designed to keep children social and active
while not in school.
Parent Support & Mentoring
“No one understands like another parent…” Do you need another
parent to talk to about your loved one’s special needs? The opportunity to
support each other through the Arc is an important part of our organization.
If you want to volunteer as a mentor or find another parent to talk to, call the

Legislative Advocacy
Advocacy is everyone’s job – be a part of the Arc’s legislative advocacy
team and help us protect and promote legal rights for persons living with
intellectual and other developmental disabilities. To learn more about our

Self Advocates
The Self Advocates is a part of The Arc of
Texas Advocate. The Arc's
Self Advocate group is run by it's members ages 18 and up with disabilities.
The organizations goal is to allow it's members to speak up for themselves and
develop their leadership, advocacy, and community service skills.
