Step Up for Autism Team Captain Meeting

Step up for Autism, scheduled for Sunday, August 1st, welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. The goals of the event is to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with autism. The event will kick off with our “Awareness Walk” around Downtown Beaumont. After the walk, participants will have the opportunity visit the “Autism Awareness Experience” located inside the Beaumont Civic Center. Participants will be able to travel through various simulations that mimic some of the sensory overloads that affect many individuals with autism.  The Experience will also have a variety of informational booths and vendors.
