The Buddy Walk is a one-mile walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join the Beaumont Buddy Walk! It’s only $10 to register and each registrant gets a t-shirt.

The Young Adult Social Group is for adults ages 18 to 30 with high functioning autism spectrum disorder.
A group for young adults to talk openly, meet new friends, laugh, and have fun.

Costumes and fun are encouraged!!
For individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 18 and up.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the dance.
Although The Arc’s staff and volunteers will be at the dance we do not have the manpower to offer anyone one-on-one assistance. If you need this type of help please make sure you invite a friend or family member to join you.

We will have a movie playing, crafts, and sports equipment to play with. Please let us know of any food allergies your child has or any special requirements that we would need to know about. This event is for children 4-12 with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their siblings.
